Roller brake testers are specialised devices used to test the braking performance of vehicles.

These devices use a series of rollers that the vehicle's wheels pass over, allowing the tester to measure the braking force applied by the vehicle and determine if it meets safety standards.

PMIs are typically performed at regular intervals, often every six to eight weeks (maximum 13 weeks as per DVSA guidelines), or after a certain number of miles have been driven. The exact schedule may vary depending on the vehicle's age, usage, and maintenance history.

What are MOT's? The MOT test is an annual inspection that makes sure your vehicle meets environmental and road safety standards. The first test is on the third anniversary of its registration.
